DarkVision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a Graphic Designer to play a key role in marketing the world's most advanced acoustic imaging platform. The role will be based out of our head office in North Vancouver and is fully on-site.
Intuitive results and information that is clear and easy to understand for our customers are cornerstones of our business. Your role will be critical in conveying that message visually to our customers and industry-wide. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and will take ownership of a wide range of design projects from concept to completion, working closely with other members of the marketing team as well as Sales and Product Management.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, meticulous attention to detail, and is experienced with developing and ensuring premium branding consistency. They are able to deliver world-class results for a world-class technology.
Our first product line has won numerous awards, has been published in industry-leading journals, and is currently being used by every high-tier operator in our industry. But we are not stopping there. We are packaging the technology for multiple new industrial verticals and have many new initiatives on the horizon. What You Will Do

• Conceptualize and create visually appealing and brand-consistent designs for print, digital, and multimedia platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
• Lead and execute creative projects from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring alignment with overall brand identity and business goals.
• Present creative concepts and designs to internal stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design choices and incorporating feedback as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Sales to understand business objectives and create compelling visual solutions that resonate with target audiences.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all creative assets, upholding brand guidelines and maintaining high design standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring all work is delivered on time and within scope.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and software, and proactively apply best practices to elevate the quality of the team's work.
• Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., printers, production companies) to ensure the quality and timeliness of marketing deliverables.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Professional graphic design experience, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative projects.
• Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, and other relevant tools.
• Understanding of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Experience in designing for both print and digital applications.
• Demonstrated experience with branding and identity development.

• Intermediate to senior level experience.
• Demonstrated curiosity and self-motivated drive to learn and experiment with new or new-to-you technologies or techniques.
• Energized by opportunities to contribute new ideas and POVs.
• Experience in technology, industrial, and/or B2B marketing.
• Experience in UI/UX design.
• Experience in or willingness to learn Blender or 3D animation.
• Illustration experience.
• Photography, videography, or video editing skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

General Salary Range
For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 to $100,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
