Job Summary
We're seeking a talented and creative
Graphic Designer
to join our team on a
12-month maternity leave contract
. In this role, you'll create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate our clients' brand messages. You'll collaborate with our marketing team and Brand Managers to develop engaging graphics for a variety of promotional campaigns.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives under deadlines, can juggle multiple projects at once, and knows how to adapt when priorities shift -- because in our world, they often do.
Duties
Design assets for print, digital, packaging, and merchandise.
Work within clients' brand guidelines to create cohesive, on-brand visuals.
Prepare files for production and ensure quality control through to final output.
Contribute to creative brainstorming and concept development.
Develop graphics (2D/3D renderings) and Photoshop images for digital and print media, including client proposals, promotional product presentations, RFTs, and other marketing materials.
Source creative promotional products online, staying ahead of new and cutting-edge trends.
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements, brand guidelines, and mood boards, ensuring all designs align with each client's identity.
Ensure all visuals are cohesive, high-quality, and meet design standards.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role.
Post-secondary Diploma in Design or a related field (required).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to draft promotional product descriptions.
Collaborative team player. You have a solutions-focused mindset and the determination to get things done, even under tight deadlines or in a fast-paced environment.
