About us! Cash and ACE Casinos is an ownership group that is undertaking a transformation and modernization of its casino businesses located in the Calgary and Red Deer market. We are an Alberta-based, family-owned business looking to grow our casino\xe2\x80\x99s team. Our current locations include Ace Casino Airport, Cash Casino Blackfoot, and Cash Casino Red Deer. The Position This is a great opportunity to join Cash Casino and ACE Casino as the Graphic Designer and social Media Coordinator. The position is based in Calgary and supports Cash Casino Calgary, ACE Casinos Calgary, and Cash Casino Red Deer. The Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator responsibilities will be to:
- Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for signage, print materials, social media and websites.
- Photograph and shoot video of events.
- Photo retouching of images used in marketing and advertising.
- Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style.
- Meet with other team members to determine requirements and vision for design elements.
- Resize graphics to suit various media and print channels.
- Coordinate with outside agencies, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
- Review finalized materials to be sure there are no errors.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop event and promotion marketing materials.
- Collaborate with Marketing on F&B, Slots, Table Games and Poker promotions.
- Strengthen brand communication through digital storytelling, contests, and other marketing avenues.
- Support on-site for the execution of Casino events.
- Create posts, monitor and engage on social media channels as needed (primarily Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc.).
- Design, manage and oversee social media content.
- Define most important social media KPIs.
- Measure the success of our social media campaigns.
- Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- 1- 2 years experience with graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).
- Demonstrable graphic design experience.
- Ability to work independently on graphic design projects.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines.
- Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly should the requirements of the project change.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Comfortable and experienced using online resources and social media outlets such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business.
- Creative ability to foster new and better ways to perform and succeed.
