Job description Job Title: Graphic Designer / Production Hand Location: Okotoks, Alberta Reports to: General Manager Country Boyz Industries is a high performance graphics company servicing a wide variety of industries. General Information: The Graphic Designer / Production Hand is expected to work 40 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm. This position will be based out of the Country Boyz Shop located near Davisburg community. The Production hand will be responsible for performing the work in the shop productions, operations, and installations. Main Responsibilities & Activities:

• Receive sales instructions and gather all information required
• Responding to emails and production requests within 2 hours
• Input information into Work Orders in Progress tracking
• Design and proof as per sales or clients requirements
• Send proof to client or salesperson as per instructions
• Once approved select best materials to use to complete the scope of work
• Produce and finish product and prepare for install or delivery
• The Graphic designer / Production hand is also responsible to delegate proofing, design, production, housekeeping duties
• Operate a large format printer
• The production space is your domain and yours to keep clean and tidy
• Engagement with day-to-day support as well as project work planning, providing a visible liaison between office and field operations

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to navigate windows file systems
• Must have the ability to work as a team or as an individual
• Comfortable communicating with clients and team members
• Ability to operate a large format printer
• Must be coherent and sober and able to work in a safe manner
• Must maintain a class 5 license, our facility is in the country is not accessible by bus

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an unrestricted class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Must provide a driver abstract
• Must provide a criminal record check upon request
• Pass Pre \xe2\x80\x93 employment drug and alcohol screening
• Must be a Canadian citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Mechanical (small engines, bearings, basic maintenance)
• Electrical (basic troubleshooting or 12V and 120V systems)
• Carpentry
• Trade experience
• Ability to operate a large format printer
• Construction experience

• Proficient in the use of power tools, skill saw, table saw, panel saw, drill, impact
• Accurate measuring skills
• Ability to take directions and notes
• Vinyl graphic installation
