OVERVIEW As the team\xe2\x80\x99s Graphic Designer, you will help develop and design marketing and promotional materials. Your work will help Obasan stand out on social platforms and in the real world, spreading awareness by producing high quality content that engages our community and elevates the customer journey. You\xe2\x80\x99ll need a strong understanding of the best-practice design principles for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and copywriting skills to optimize a design\xe2\x80\x99s usability. You will work closely with our Creative Director on creative projects such as magazine ads, brochures, client facing documentation, web-page layouts, digital marketing content, digital ads and more. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• DIGITAL CONTENT DESIGN

Design digital ads (static, motion graphic), mail-outs, social media content and more.

• CLIENT FACING DOCUMENTATION DESIGN

Design pack slips, labels, tags, product care guides, and more.

• WEBSITE DESIGN

Design web-page layouts, banners and more.

• PRINT DESIGN

Design magazine ads, brochures, showroom visuals (posters, text panels, hand-outs) and more.

• COORDINATION (MISC.)

Assist with design/content dissemination (ex: scheduling mail-outs, publishing designs and sharing content online) EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• 2+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer with a broad portfolio that includes examples of work you have created yourself and social media content.
• College or University diploma in Advertising, Graphic or Communication Design is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 both written and verbal in English and French
• Proficient Adobe Creative Cloud (Expert knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Google Drive Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and using Mac OS.

Accountabilities: Creative

• Understanding Obasan\xe2\x80\x99s brand and interpret them creatively
• Create designs that capture the creative vision set by the Creative Director and ability to take art direction, refine concepts and initiate improvements

Accountabilities: Administrative

• Act as lead point of contact for print houses and responsible for receiving proofs
• Manage designs, images, organize files in the design archive and maintain a design library

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Schedule:
