The Role

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to design impactful marketing and sales materials that drive brand love and customer engagement. We are looking for a creative and resourceful team member who is highly motivated, confident, and has strong attention to detail. You Will

Create marketing materials including but not limited to; promotional content, social media content, launch content, sell-in content. Output various media forms including static graphics + video content. Create packaging for brand including mock-ups, updating artwork and print-proofing for a variety of products, refining and expanding upon current brand aesthetics. Responsible for designing sales materials from concept to completion; creating impactful designs, updating catalogues, sell sheets, tradeshow booth materials, and ensuring a consistent and powerful brand experience that is relevant to Canada Pooch's target audience. Develop digital graphic applications for product launches; designing and exporting emails, social ads & channels, website images/banners, image sourcing/making selects, look books, PR decks, and marketing campaign elements. Editing products photos, lifestyle photos and creating realistic photo manipulations. Deadline management: Prioritize and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting established deadlines and ensuring timely project delivery. Assist Senior Art Director in additional relevant projects or responsibilities as necessary.

What You Bring

Bachelor/Diploma relevant to Graphic Design 1-2 years' experience in graphic design or related role Must have knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PremierePro or AfterEffects Strong attention to detail with project briefs and when creating/editing design materials Ability to take creative initiative and ownership when given a rough concept Willingness to learn and adapt to changing direction or project scope Great communication and team player skills Pet-enthusiast!
