About Us: Pacific Smoke International is Canada's largest and leading wholesale distributor of electronic vaporizers and e-liquids. We have achieved tremendous growth since 2013 and are seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to join our team.: We are searching for a passionate and driven Graphic Designer with 3-5 years of professional experience in designing digital and print assets. The candidate must have a firm grasp of graphic design fundamentals and knowledge of best practices.You will be reporting to the Art Director under the Products & Marketing department, working closely alongside the Lead Graphic Designer and other members of the team. We design product packaging for vape brands, digital marketing, POSM, newsletters, social media graphics, and more!Responsibilities: Create on-brand design solutions for a variety of projects across multiple brands. Design digital assets, including but not limited to email newsletters, social media graphics, website graphics. Design print collateral including, but not limited to package design, product labels, sell sheets, POSM material. Image retouching, manipulation, and compositing Work under the guidance of the Art Director and Lead Graphic Designer to receive feedback and refine designs to appropriate standards. Ensure all design files are press-ready and optimized for web as required. Provide creative, modern, and innovative approaches as well as outstanding attention to detail and quality under challenging deadlines. Deliver design work on time, in accordance with project requirements within a regulated industry. Work on multiple projects concurrently and operate in a fast-paced work environment. Work both independently and within a collaborative environment with other graphic designers. Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.Requirements: A degree, diploma or certificate in Graphic Design or related field of study 3-5 years of relevant work experience Proficient in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Knowledgeable in the best practices of graphic design, including, but not limited to layout, composition, color theory, and typography. Knowledgeable in prepress file preparation and digital file setup (types of files, formats, dpi, etc) Experience with package design and working with dielines is an asset Experience with image retouching, manipulation, and compositing in Photoshop is an asset Stays up to date with design and industry trends Excellent organizational and time management skills A high level of attention to detail Adaptability and agility in an ever-changing industry A problem solver who is forward thinking and proactive in finding solutions Easy-going, positive attitude and enjoys a team dynamic Passionate about design and coming up with solutions in a heavily regulated industryOur office is located in Markham, ON. Our team is currently working from home.
