Inter-Mtn. Enterprises Inc., the premier supplier of signs & specialty products to North America's outdoor recreation industry, is seeking a permanent Graphic Designer to join their growing Kelowna-based team. While graphic design experience is a must, we are willing to train the right applicant in customer service.

In this role, you will work closely with the President & CEO, Marketing Coordinator, and Graphics Department to perform a variety of tasks that include:

Requirements & Responsibilities

Creating design materials for customers, whom you will interact with daily Providing exceptional customer service Setting up print-ready files Preparing and reviewing proofs for internal and external purposes Operating large format printers Communication and collaboration with our production team Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes Creating and updating biannual catalogues for print and digital, promotional and tradeshow materials, website elements, digital ads, newsletters, print, social media assets, and sales resources

Education & Experience

A minimum of 3 years of Graphic Design experience with formal training, degree, or diploma in computer graphics Demonstrate design experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in Illustrator and Photoshop Experience in design software used in sign-making is considered an asset Passionate and willing to learn a diverse line of signs and specialty products Experience in sign making, production, designing or selling signs, banners, stickers, and vinyl preparation (weeding and application/installs) an asset Has a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a team environment or independently Willingness to help others. We are a small group that supports our coworkers and customers Prior customer service or sales experience is an asset Self-starter with a great attitude that's capable of working independently and in a team Creative mindset, highly organized, and a good eye for detail
Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of sign-making practices, specifically in sign design and price estimations or digital printing equipment. The ideal candidate is an avid skier/boarder, hiker, biker, or has general enthusiasm for outdoor recreation. They will also be able to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours a week between the operating hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
