Graphic Designer

to work based out of our office in Halifax, NS.

MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law is a civil litigation boutique firm representing clients across Atlantic Canada and beyond. We currently have offices located in New Glasgow, NS; Halifax, NS; St. John's, NL; and Moncton, NB.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer on a variety of creative projects including motion graphics, web design, digital content, and print materials Design visual assets for websites, social media, and internal communications Collaborate with the Videographer in the creation of animated graphics for digital advertising Support the creative process from intake to production, including prepping files and quality checking deliverables Maintain and update existing design materials within brand guidelines Update and maintain a consistent workflow of existing projects, delivering projects on agreed timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or college diploma in Design, Visual Communications, or a related field A portfolio showcasing strong design fundamentals including layout, typography, and motion graphics Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially

Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

for motion graphics Interest in designing across multiple formats: digital, web, print, and branded content Experience in the development of social media posts across channels Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail Basic familiarity with web design tools (e.g., Figma) or HTML/CSS is an asset Bilingual fluency in English and French is an asset
