Visions Electronics, Canada's leading independent retailer of consumer electronics, is seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer with marketing experience to join its head office marketing team in Calgary, AB.

About the Position:

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the production and design of marketing materials within brand guidelines. You will be working with the in-house marketing team and purchasing team to build a broad spectrum of both digital and print media.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum two years' experience within the industry and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and motion graphics. Experience or knowledge of the printing process is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, plus the ability to work both independently to self-manage assigned projects and as a part of a team while meeting multiple deadlines is essential.

Required Creative and Technical Skills:

? Photoshop

? Illustrator

? After Effects

? Acrobat Pro

? Basic Excel knowledge

? Understanding of macOS and software

Responsibilities:

? Work with the in-house marketing team and purchasing team to define design requirements

? Create eye-catching design materials for digital flyers, print advertising, web and social media

? Manage and meet production deadlines

? Retouch images to improve quality both in digital and print formats

? Archive produced images and graphics

? Keep up-to-date with trends in graphic design techniques and software

? Perform other duties as assigned
