GRAPHIC AND WEB DESIGN INTERNSHIP (6 Months)Position Summary: At Venture Development Institute (VDI), we are searching for an energetic and self-motivated Graphic and Web Design Intern to join our design department. This is a 6 month paid position. If you're an ambitious and positive individual who has studied or worked in graphic design, has some knowledge of digital marketing and social media, then we would like to hear from you. Please note that a portfolio and/or work samples will be requested from selected candidates.The position will ensure that projects are completed with high quality and on schedule. Tasks will range from creating pitch decks, digital marketing materials to WordPress web design and UI design.This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in an open and receptive startup environment. The successful candidate must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and provide support to meet tight deadlines.Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Graphic /Web Design post-secondary program (or equivalent) or a recent graduate / alumni from a similar post-secondary program
• Proficient in designing creative pitch deck and presentations
• Familiarity with landing pages Design on WordPress platform
• Experience creating marketing flyers, brochures, posters, ads content
• Solid understanding of typography and layout
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Thorough understanding of file formats and sizes to optimize for web viewing
• Familiarity with HTML5/CSS3 and Bootstrap framework
• Keen attention to detail
• Proven team player with effective interpersonal skills

Required Skills:

• Familiar with Windows 10/11 OS
