What you'll do

Anticipate the needs of our customers and put them first in all that you do Lead, coach and motivate colleagues to achieve success and foster colleague growth Be committed to maintaining merchandising and operational standards Be accountable for departmental sales results and financial objectives

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience. To direct and supervise all Soup, Sandwich, Chill & Grill staff to secure efficient and courteous customer service; To respond immediately to any customer inquiries, requests and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times; To maximize sales and gross profit, ensuring sales' goals, budgets and shrink targets are met; Responsible for ordering, receiving, inventory and display of merchandise; To hire all part-time staff and train new employees; To schedule all Soup, Salad and Sandwich clerks ensuring the strict control of wage costs; To interpret and administer Company policy and ensure compliance with the union contract; To ensure the maintenance of equipment as well as the safety and sanitation of the department; To ensure compliance with the company food safety standards, regulations and audits; Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

Exceptional customer service skills The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the prepared foods industry, with previous management experience in either a restaurant or fast food operation; Post-secondary education in culinary preparation, such as line cooking procedures are a definite asset; Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, and weekends; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure; Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
