Job Description

The Grants & Funding Coordinator supports the development of competitive grant proposals that align with Miru's innovation, sustainability, and strategic growth goals. This role coordinates key elements of the grant lifecycle from opportunity research and content development to deadline tracking and submission support. The Coordinator works closely with internal teams to gather project inputs, lead in proposal drafting, and ensure that submissions are accurate, well-organized, and aligned with funder requirements. This is a mid-level, detail-oriented role ideal for someone growing in grant writing and project coordination.



Key Responsibilities:



Research relevant public and private funding opportunities and help assess their fit with Miru's goals. Coordinate the grant submission process by organizing timelines, inputs, and deliverables. Lead drafting and assembling proposal materials, including project summaries, supporting documents, and letters. Collaborate with technical and finance teams to gather accurate project details and budget inputs. Review grant requirements to ensure applications meet all funder criteria and formatting guidelines. Maintain records of proposals submitted, awards received, and reporting timelines. Support post-award compliance and reporting by tracking deadlines and gathering required information. Maintain up-to-date documentation libraries, templates, and grant calendars.

Skills and Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in business, environmental studies, public administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in grant coordination, proposal development, or nonprofit/government funding. Strong writing, editing, and document preparation skills. Proficient in managing timelines and coordinating input across multiple contributors. Familiarity with funding databases, grant platforms, or public sector funding programs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines and priorities. Interest in innovation, technology, or sustainability initiatives is a plus.

Work Schedule and Compensation:



Ability to work full-time on-site at our Olympic Village location 40 hour work week
