Vous ferez partie de l\'\xc3\xa9quipe de d\xc3\xa9veloppement des bistros allant du menu \xc3\xa0 la s\xc3\xa9lection et formation du personnel, des op\xc3\xa9rations quotidiennes et des licenses, et encore plus.
Le tout suivi par la gestion du jour \xc3\xa0 jour des bistros. Additionnellement, ce poste inclus la gestion de certains \xc3\xa9v\xc3\xa9nements priv\xc3\xa9s \xc3\xa0 bord notre navire signature le Ottawa River Queen, connu pour son environment festif et ses croisi\xc3\xa8res sp\xc3\xa9ciales comme des mariages, sorties corporatives, party th\xc3\xa9matiques etc. EN Set to open early this summer, Ottawa Boat Cruise is excited to expand its services and product line! Join our ever expanding company and operations as we launch a new series of bistros in the National Capital Region located next to our docking facilities to complement our sightseeing cruise tours. You would be part of the development team in setting up the bistros from the menu selection, staffing and training, daily operations, licensing and more, followed by the day to day operations of the bistros. In addition, the position would include managing a selection of private events onboard our signature vessel the Ottawa River Queen, known for its festive atmosphere and variety of special events such as weddings, corporate outings, theme parties and more. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all phases of daily food and beverage operations
• Effectively promote and work in a group environment with other department team leaders
• Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues and average checks via suggestive selling techniques
• Inspire, train, and develop people for promotion
• Instill a guest service attitude in all employees using a "hands-on" approach to management
• Closely monitor guests dining experiences and ensure team members are meeting expectations
• Ensure revenue and profitability goals are achieved
• Exceptional detail in follow-up
• Solid scheduling experience and creative thinking
• Follow/enforce company policies and procedures
• Assume responsibility/accountability

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills and fiscal responsibility
• Excellent listening skills and creative problem solving
• Strong track record maintaining consistent standards
• Solid skills selling and negotiating programs/projects
• Strong budgetary, projections, cost control skills and forecasting skills
• Requires a minimum of 2 years experience as a manager or assistant manager in restaurant/bistro/cafe settings
• Post secondary degree in Hospitality and Tourism an asset
• Bilingual, written and spoken

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Benefits:
