To be considered for this 2024 position, you\'ll need:\xe2\x80\x8b

• A bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in civil or structural engineering, with a focus on structural design and load development, from an accredited university\xe2\x80\x8b
• Demonstrable interest in structural projects through relevant experience, such as your field of study, internships, volunteering, or relevant association memberships\xe2\x80\x8b
• Methodical approach to problem solving to undertake tasks efficiently and independently\xe2\x80\x8b
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members\xe2\x80\x8b
• Wonderful written communication and attention to detail, with an ability to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing\xe2\x80\x8b
• Working towards Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation
• Superb understanding of relevant technologies, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, etc.\xe2\x80\x8b

With guidance from a professional engineer, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:\xe2\x80\x8b

• Developing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs\xe2\x80\x8b
• Attending site inspections, investigations, and monitoring\xe2\x80\x8b
• Actively participating in project, client and team meetings\xe2\x80\x8b
• Reviewing, preparing, and modifying designs\xe2\x80\x8b
• Analyzing reports, specifications, and studies\xe2\x80\x8b
• Gaining exposure to project, commercial, and client management\xe2\x80\x8b
• Undertaking a \'digital by default\' approach in deliverables\xe2\x80\x8b
• Actively participating in our Early Careers Professionals Network\xe2\x80\x8b
• Supporting our \'Purpose\' in everything you do\xe2\x80\x8b

As a structural engineer, you will support the delivery of major infrastructure projects which may include:\xe2\x80\x8b

• Large industrial natural gas distribution and metering facilities which include metal buildings, large, vibrating machinery foundations, pipe racks and other steel framing
• Electrical substation facilities designing the steel framing and foundations supporting electrical equipment and bus
• \xe2\x80\x8bRenewable solar farm and wind turbine farm facilities
