About Potash
The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon. BHP\'s CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewan designed to maximize sustainability. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan\'s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles. Jansen\'s construction will take place over several years with first production planned for late 2026. Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million Tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. About the Graduate Program
The 24-month graduate program focuses on Developing, Engaging, Managing Change and Achieving Results. It\'s a balanced approach to technical and professional development to ensure you have well-rounded capabilities. This will be the cornerstone of your BHP Career. Graduates will rotate into different teams 2-4 times, to help build technical capabilities, working relationships with new people and leadership skills. You\'ll be guided by our leaders as you work on real projects, offering accelerated learning and career path opportunities. Near the end of the program, you\'ll be provided the choice to stay in the same commodity or seek opportunities elsewhere in BHP to demonstrate all that you have learned.
Purpose
BHP is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Health and Hygiene Specialist to contributes to the design, development, and implementation of the health and hygiene-related programs and processes at the Jansen Site. The role will also provide support to the Jansen construction Team with the implementation BHP Health Requirements. The Graduate Health and Hygiene Specialist will join a global cohort of like-minded graduates who will be supported, motivated, and mentored to develop the skills required to work on real business problems, and given an opportunity to create a career that will have a lasting impact on themselves and on the world.
