In this exciting, community-focused role, you will champion our graduates, strengthen relationships with employers, and help shape the future of career education across our campuses.
Actively reach out to employers to identify job leads and coordinate on-campus visits.
Promote Academy Canada graduates and events to businesses while gathering valuable insights into market and industry trends.
Present to organizations and high schools, showcasing Academy Canada's programs and graduate success stories.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with recruiting firms to support graduate placement.
Support Students & Match Them with Opportunities
Work closely with students to prepare them for interviews, employment, and practicum placements.
Match employer job requirements with the right student talent--coordinating interviews and ensuring smooth communication.
Troubleshoot employment readiness concerns and help students overcome barriers to success.
Engage With the Community
Attend networking events, association meetings, trade shows, and career fairs to represent Academy Canada.
Coordinate employer involvement in Lunch & Learns and other on-campus activities.
Participate in campus events to help maintain a positive and vibrant campus culture.
Track Outcomes & Strengthen Academic Connections
Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain accurate statistical spreadsheets.
Provide Admissions with inspiring "Good News Stories" and identify alumni to connect with prospective students.
Work Term & Practicum Leadership
Prepare students for their work term/practicum through engaging seminars delivered 3-4 weeks before placements.
Support students through problem-solving and personalized guidance.
Build and maintain relationships with practicum hosts and source new opportunities through follow-up and outreach.
Manage and approve work term/practicum contracts and assist with related administrative processes.
