Position Overview:

Capital City Paving is seeking a reliable and hardworking Grading Crew Member to join our team. This hybrid role involves both operating equipment and performing general labour tasks to support our grading and paving operations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically fit, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the water truck safely and efficiently during grading and paving operations. Assist with general labour tasks, including moving materials, site cleanup, and support for other crew members. Follow all safety procedures and regulations on-site. Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance or operational issues. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards. Adapt to a hybrid role that may involve a mix of equipment operation and hands-on labour tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 driver's license with air brakes endorsement. Experience operating heavy equipment (water truck or similar) is an asset. Able to perform manual labour in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
