Are you an experienced equipment operator with expertise in operating graders for snow removal during the winter season? Do you have a passion for hard work and attention to detail If so, Rockland invites you to apply for the position of Grader Operator for our commercial snow management division.

Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation:

Operate grading equipment to remove snow and ice efficiently and effectively from roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces

Snow Removal:

Clear snow using the grader and ensure that surfaces are properly graded for safety and accessibility

Safety:

Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including equipment inspections and safe work procedures, to ensure the well-being of yourself and team members

Maintenance:

Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance tasks, report any issues promptly to the Site Lead to maintain optimal equipment performance

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work completed, hours worked, equipment usage, materials applied, and any incidents or issues encountered

Communication:

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate snow removal efforts, respond to changing weather conditions, and ensure efficient service delivery

Emergency Response:

Be available for on-call shifts during heavy snowfall or winter weather emergencies

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Grader Operator for snow removal operations

Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations

Proficiency in operating grading equipment, including experience with snowplow attachments

Strong knowledge of snow removal and winter maintenance techniques

Ability to work effectively in cold weather conditions and adapt to changing weather patterns

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Availability for flexible work hours, including night shifts, weekends and holidays
