Overview

We are seeking a skilled Grademan to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of grading, excavation processes and finished product . This role is essential to ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. As a Grademan, you will be also be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery along with providing grade control for the projects collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including graders, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators to perform grading tasks. Ensure proper grading of surfaces for construction projects, maintaining specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate work activities and ensure safety protocols are followed. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while on site.

Skills

Setting up lasers level and providing grade control Mentoring new workers Good attitude Basic skills in the operation of Skidsteer's, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment. Knowledge of construction practices and procedures related to grading and paving operations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information regarding project progress or issues. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
