Job Description

TLA Online is seeking one B.C. certified teacher to teach in a grade 8-9 Blended learning environment in Vernon, B.C..

The position may range from .6 to 1.0 depending on student interest.

The students are part of a Christian Reformed church co-operative, so applicants for this particular position must share their Christian Reformed faith, as religious instruction will a component of learning in addition to the B.C. curriculum.

Potential candidates must:

Be a practicing member of the Christian Reformed faith community (

for this position only)

Be a BC certified Teacher Be local to the city of Vernon, or willing to commute to the learning site multiple times per week. Experience working or learning in an project based or online environment is an asset but not a requirement.
Duties include:

Working with students and parents online and face to face to ensure they meet the BC learning standards.
