Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta, serving the education needs of approximately 17,950 students in 42 schools. EIPS is recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Grade 7 and 8 Teacher at Mundare School. This unique junior high position will be teaching all grade 7 and 8 subjects to Mundare's very small junior high class of appropriately 10 students. This elementary style classroom is a great opportunity for any elementary and/or secondary trained teacher. The successful applicant will teach all core subjects and most option courses.

Mundare School serves approximately 100 students in kindergarten to Grade 8, with seven teaching staff and six support staff. The school is located in Mundare, AB, approximately 70 kilometres northeast of Sherwood Park, AB.
