Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre is a Nursery to Grade 12 school serving approximately 1,400 students and a professional staff of 90, including 3 Vice-Principals. It is one of the largest and most unique schools in the province. The school is located in Norway House, Manitoba which is a thriving community situated at the picturesque tip of Lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River. The community is fully serviced with a hospital, shopping mall, two community recreation complexes, a post-secondary campus and daily air service.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) A sound knowledge of provincial Early Years curricula Previous Early Years teaching experience Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life Experience with integrating Indigenous culture and land-based teaching into curriculum Strong classroom management skills Experience working in a northern community Experience working with students with unique needs A commitment to differentiated instruction A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn Self-motivated
