Reporting to the Foreman, the Gomaco Operator is responsible for safely operating a slipform curb-and-gutter machine to install concrete curbs, sidewalks, and other formed concrete profiles according to specifications. This role requires precise machine setup, operation, and maintenance, as well as coordination with the ground crew to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to grade. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience with Gomaco or similar slipform paving equipment and a strong understanding of concrete placement.

How You'll Add Value



Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment Operate Gomaco curb-and-gutter equipment in accordance with project specifications and safety requirements Set up and align the machine using stringline, laser, or other grade control systems Monitor and adjust concrete mix consistency, vibration, steering, and slope during operation to ensure a uniform finish Coordinate with crew members to ensure continuous concrete supply and quality control Perform daily maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs to keep equipment in top operating condition Troubleshoot machine and grade issues to minimize downtime Assist with concrete finishing and general site duties when needed

What You Bring



3+ years of experience operating Gomaco or similar slipform paving equipment for curb-and-gutter work Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a Driver's Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions Physically able to safely lift and carry 40 lbs regularly Experience with laser or stringline grade control systems considered an asset Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods, as needed
