Job Description

Responsibilities:

Maintains a preventive maintenance program for all turf equipment,utility carts and electric golf carts while working within the allocated budget. Troubleshoots , prioritizes and repairs equipment breakdowns Maintains all cutting units and ensures effective quality of cut and mowing heights on a daily basis Maintains detailed records of service, repair costs and parts inventory for all pieces of equipment Upkeep of repair shop and equipment storage including management of all hazardous waste On course inspection of equipment Involved with training of employees on preventive maintenance, proper cleaning and safe operation of equipment. Communicates effectively with superintendent to ensure equipment is serviced and ready for use when required.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of the theory, care, operation and repair of internal combustion engines and mowing equipment Previous experience in the golf industry as an equipment manager or technician is an asset Knowledge of reel grinding and precise mower set up and adjustments. Valid Class G drivers license
