Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. The Mechanic will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed Conduct safety checks and identify potential hazards in the work environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to maintain a clean and organized work space to help aid in timely and efficient repairs Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating tasks Must possess relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., ASE certification preferred) Physical ability to lift heavy parts, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely Nice-to-have skills include experience with computerized diagnostic tools or specific industry-related machinery
