Diamond World Jewelry Ltd. is looking for an experienced and passionate

Goldsmith / Bench Jeweler

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in fine jewelry making, repair, resizing, and stone setting, with excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. You will work on a wide range of jewelry pieces including gold, silver, platinum, diamond, and gemstone jewelry.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment and takes pride in producing high-quality custom jewelry and repair work.

Key Responsibilities

Handcraft, repair, and restore fine jewelry using gold, platinum, and other precious metals. Perform

stone setting, soldering, polishing, rhodium plating, and finishing

on a variety of jewelry pieces. Resize rings, repair chains, and replace missing or damaged stones. Collaborate with the design team and sales associates on

custom jewelry orders

. Inspect, clean, and maintain jewelry to ensure top-quality standards. Maintain an organized and safe workbench with proper care of tools and equipment. Provide technical advice and support on jewelry design, repair, and maintenance.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Goldsmith, Bench Jeweler, or Jewelry Repair Specialist

. Strong knowledge of jewelry-making techniques including soldering, stone setting (prong, bezel, channel, pave), and polishing. Ability to work with diamonds, gemstones, and multiple types of metals. High level of

precision, attention to detail, and craftsmanship

. Strong problem-solving and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in

Jewelry Design, Goldsmithing, or Gemology

(an asset but not required). Experience with

CAD jewelry design software

(e.g., Rhino, Matrix, or similar). Previous experience in a luxury jewelry store or manufacturing environment.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
