The Android Product Marketing Team is looking for an organized, collaborative, experienced, and strategic Program Manager to join a campaign team that launches a robust set of quarterly features and products to Android users (spanning across phones, tablets, and connected devices like watches, TVs, Chromebooks, and Auto). As part of this team, you'll play a key role in gathering information about upcoming product launches, driving coordinated launch execution with cross-functional teams, project managing the creative process for asset production, triaging issues, helping teams stay organized with tools and communication, and continuously improving our processes.
While the moment to moment tasks may seem mostly organizational, in the bigger picture we are looking for someone who can be a friendly diplomat to other teams -- someone who helps keep people in the know and able to help us build and operationalize an internal engine, improving efficiencies and timelines, identifying high-impact approaches, and being a thought partner in making the overall program a success. A person who thrives in this role will help the team navigate timelines and dependencies and empower a wide variety of team members to contribute and deliver on time.
RESPONSABILITES
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on identifying upcoming feature launches.
Staying in touch with a variety of cross-functional product marketing teams to curate products included in the Spotlight program. Ensure teams hit key milestones and help land smooth campaign launches.
Create and maintain internal communication tools to help stakeholders stay current and engaged through the life cycle of the campaign creation and execution.
Creating and maintaining helpful email comms, informational decks, internally-facing website, and executive decks. Planning, creating content, and leading quarterly campaign kickoffs with feature teams and agencies.
Manage the production process of messaging and creative assets.
Collecting a variety of assets from marketing, product, and UX teams, working with agencies to package them for a variety of marketing channels, and shepherding the assets through the feedback cycle (including legal reviews). It also means assisting with communication across teams to keep next steps clear and the production on time.
Manage agency timelines, comms, and retrospectives. Share and maintain timelines and processes with creative agencies, and frequent communications and meetings with agencies. Ensure agencies hit key milestones and land smooth launches. Lead retrospective conversations with agencies each quarter to improve for the future.
Own timelines and processes for internal channels. Partner closely with teams such as PR and Community Forum and upload the Spotlight blog to the Keyword blog each quarter and key assets into the press kit.
Manage communication with Partner Marketing and retail training teams
. This includes keeping partner marketers up to date on the campaign, keeping the Partner Marketing Hub current with the latest assets and product information, and helping to create the quarterly partner Spotlight toolkit.
Support campaign measurement, analysis, and reporting.
Collect and analyze metrics from individual product and feature teams. Add these metrics as well as overall campaign metrics to decks, internal website, and emails. Support with quarterly performance recaps.
