Responsibilities:
Build/Produce quality parts at established production rates and on-time in a safe manner
Meet production requirements, shift quota, and hourly cycle counts
Perform first and last off
Produce quality parts within specifications as per the Quality Check sheets
Report and Request maintenance repairs when necessary for quality or safety to Team Leaders and Group Leaders
Perform Statistical Process Control checks when necessary, as per check sheet
Maintain accurate production records at all times
Report on parts inventory, production supplies and cycle counts and complete logs
Ensure daily Preventative Maintenance logs and check sheets are complete
Report production issues and down time to Team Leader and suggest corrective action and/or improvement solutions
Review all quality alerts, inspect parts for defects, and notify team leader if new quality issues arise.
Load parts into containers according to packaging MOS
Ensure work area is clean, neat, orderly and free of scrap materials
5 S and Kaizen activities as required
Adhere to all HealthSafety policies and procedures
Assist team members to achieve work goals and objectives
All other relevant duties
Education Requirements:
Grade 12, GED or Equivalent
Applicant Qualifications:
GMAW experience
Willing to work overtime when required
Excellent attendance
Mechanically inclined
Good communication, problem solving, organization and planning skills
Self-motivated, team player, fast learner
Able to work with minimal supervision
