POSITION SUMMARY




Reporting to the Managing Director Canada, the General Manager Aftermarket Sales is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and supporting aftermarket sales efforts across all branches. This role oversees commission and compensation structures for branch aftermarket sales personnel, establishes and drives Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and collaborates with branch and sales leadership to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to market needs. The General Manager also manages special projects and supports roles reporting directly to them, including the Regional Parts Manager, Operator Training, and Branch Business Analyst.

POSITION DESCRIPTION



Support and enhance sales process training and aftermarket sales structure across branches. Evaluate current sales personnel and programs for all parts and service sales functions. Collaborate with department managers to optimize market coverage and territory support. Establish goals and communicate best practices among corporate and branch sales teams. Develop training programs to provide clear career progression and improve retention. Use KPIs to refine training and identify opportunities for improvement. Drive performance of the Aftermarket Sales Team in partnership with Branch Managers. Coordinate with HR, Accounting, Payroll, and Operations on change management processes. Establish and implement KPIs to measure and improve performance. Manage compensation structures and commission programs. Lead special projects and initiatives to support aftermarket growth.

KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE



8-15 years of related experience in aftermarket sales or industrial sales. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Strong working knowledge of aftermarket sales processes. Excellent communication skills--written, verbal, and presentation. Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning capabilities. Ability to travel frequently (6-20%) including overnight stays. Valid driver's license and ability to drive a personal vehicle for company business. Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Ability to travel to the US
