Jardeg is recruiting Glycol Heat Tracing (GHT) technicians with the Imperial Oil site near Cold lake, Alberta. This is a full-time/temporary position on 10/4 shift rotation.

This is a drive-in / drive-out site with no camp. LOA, Daily uplift and travel allowance will be provided.

GHT Technician\'s work as part of the piping crews to install/modify Glycol Heat Tracing and Tubing. You will be responsible for bending, banding and basketing piping and valves.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by installing glycol heat tracing systems

Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications.

Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Performing tube bending, banding and basketing valve

May perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Preferred Journeyperson or Apprentice ticket in Steam fitting/Pipefitting/Plumbing from a recognized provincial training authority.

H2S Alive

WHMIS 2015

Standard First Aid or Emergency First Aid

Valid Class 5 Driver\'s License (no restrictions) and a clean 3 Year Driver\'s Abstract
