You will be exposed to different product types and formats and have a chance to get creative while designing new products.The TeamYou will be part of an inclusive, passionate, and collaborative team supporting you along the way. This product development team is responsible for developing Appetizer products for retail, food service, and QSR channels.What You Will Be Working On

• Creating and testing product formulations at benchtop and lab scale to create new products or reformulate existing products
• Setting up product cuttings and sensory evaluations
• Pilot line and factory testing to assess the scalability of benchtop formulations
• Testing and validating product attributes and shelf life
• Collecting data and reporting on each testing phase in the development process

What You Will LearnYou will learn experimental design and formulation development as well as how to scale up from bench-scale testing to finished products. In the role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be able to interact with different functions within the organization and receive mentoring from experienced product developers.What You Need to Be Successful

• Undergraduate student in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Creativity and critical thinking
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• A love of food!
