YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

External Communications

  • Write, review, translate external communications including press releases, Q&A, presentations, customer letters, open house materials / marketing materials.
  • Contribute to the development of external communications including speeches, presentations, speaking notes, one-pagers, etc.
  • Support brands\xe2\x80\x99 public relations specialist needs such as media monitoring, translations, newswire distribution, press kits, etc.
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the team\xe2\x80\x99s processes and practices.
  • Manage global PR suppliers and tools, such as our distribution network, our newsroom, and our media monitoring tool.
Media relations
  • Contribute to building targeted media lists relevant to specific projects.
  • Write, edit, translate, and distribute news releases, media advisories, media pitches, backgrounders, and any other relevant media materials for specific and dedicated initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage incoming media requests.
  • Facilitate interviews with spokespeople when needed.
  • Contribute to media events planning and execution.
Media Listening & Reporting
  • Develop and compile analytics reports to track performance from efforts, show trends in coverage and demonstrate BRP\xe2\x80\x99s share of voice and that of its brands.
  • Manage BRP\xe2\x80\x99s daily media coverage newsletter.
  • Monitor global media landscape and keep the Global Communications team informed on potential risks.
THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

The best candidate is deeply passionate about communications and has experience in a corporate environment. They must be able to conduct business in both French and English, actively consume all forms of media and be very familiar with trends in on- and offline media consumption. The person has a strong sense of organization, is highly rigorous, solution-driven, and resourceful.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in communications, public relations, or related field to the job.
  • 3 to 5 years of public relations or communications experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both French and English.
  • Strong work ethic, hands on approach, high attention to detail.
  • Be available, on occasion, outside of normal business hours.
