, you will play a mission-critical role in supporting and scaling ServerMania's global infrastructure operations. Your responsibilities will span
datacenter logistics, vendor coordination, order fulfillment, hardware lifecycle management
, and
infrastructure deployment support
. This includes overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory levels, resolving hardware-related issues, and ensuring the timely delivery of customer orders.
You will work cross-functionally with
Engineering, Sales, Support, and Marketing
to align operational workflows with business objectives. In addition, you will take a lead role in managing and evolving the
Dedicated Server product line
--from maintaining competitive product standards to supporting Sales with custom configurations and pricing strategies.
The ideal candidate brings
5+ years of experience
in the
Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
or datacenter hosting industry, along with a
Project Management Certification
. Fluency in English, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a
24/7/365 environment
are essential for success in this.
Compensation
Base Salary:
$105,000 CAD/year (depending on experience and location)
Performance Bonus
: Up to 10% annually, tied to operational KPIs such as deployment timelines, inventory accuracy, and vendor SLA optimization
Project Bonuses
: $2,000-$5,000 for leading major cluster deployments, data center migrations, or process improvements
Equity / Profit Sharing:
Long-term incentives available after 12-18 months for high-performing individuals
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years working in the IaaS community
Project Management Certification
Working knowledge and demonstrated skill working with hardware
Experience with logistics and dealing with shipping companies such as FedEx
Excellent English Proficiency
Being available on-call 24/7 for emergencies

Experience working in a 24/7/365 industry.
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities
Data Center Facility Management
Coordinate with Facility Providers
: Act as the primary point of contact with QTS, Cologix, CoreSite, Telehouse, and other colocation vendors.
Rackspace & Power Management
: Oversee power usage (e.g., 5kW-15kW racks), cooling requirements, and space planning for future expansions.
Access Control
: Manage badge provisioning, remote hands requests, and ensure 24/7 secure access protocols are enforced.
Site Visits & Audits
: Perform routine audits of facilities (U.S. & international), coordinate with engineering for physical installations.
Downtime Response
: Work with NOC and vendor teams during fiber cuts, blackouts, or power incidents (e.g., RFO coordination and incident post-mortems).
Order Fulfillment, Inventory, and Logistics
Order Tracking
: Manage the full lifecycle of hardware orders (from procurement staging racking go-live).
Vendor & Shipment Coordination

+ Track CapEx for hardware and report billing discrepancies for facility invoices.
Infrastructure Deployment & Decommissioning
Build Projects
: Manage deployments for new clusters (e.g., AMD EPYC servers, GPU clusters, micro-nodes).
Emergency Response & Escalations
After-Hours On-Call
: Support incident response in mission-critical events.
Client Communication Support
: Work with account managers and tech leads to explain outages, migration delays, or order ETAs.
