Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Communication Partner (BCP), Technology to join the Business Communication Alignment Unit in the Corporate Communication Department. The successful candidate will serve as a senior communication advisor to the Technology leadership team. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a tailored and specific communications strategy based on the Business Plan. The BCP\'s primary role is to ensure communications strategies are fully aligned and integrated with the overall Corporate Communication Strategy, and support as the lead communications interface between the Corporate Communication Department and the Technology function.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key interface and coordination point for all Technology communications workstreams, managing input from the business lines leadership team, Business Communications team, and the broader Corporate Communication Department.
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping and research to build a deep understanding of the audience and their needs.
  • Use data-driven insights, such as corporate reputation tracking, media analysis, and benchmarking, to inform a strategic approach, communication objectives, and KPIs.
  • Develop a compelling, multi-channel communications strategy with input from leadership and the Corporate Communication Department.
  • Develop specific messaging and supporting materials, drawing on proof points to validate messages relating to Technology.
  • Create content including but not limited to press releases, key messages, FAQs and Factsheets, strategic briefs for creative content (such as motion infographics, video, website, etc.) with input from the Technology leadership team and Corporate Communication.
  • Coordinate with other Corporate Communication teams to activate the communications strategy, including media relations, social media, event management, publishing, internal communications, speechwriting, and other marketing/communications channels as appropriate.
  • Identify and develop a calendar of strategic speaking engagements and opportunities for the business leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Develop clear communications objectives, KPIs, and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of communications and external engagement with content and understanding of strategy.
Requirements:
  • Willing to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic communications, either in-house or in a consultancy.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy Sector and a technology background is preferred, with regional experience also desirable.
  • Bachelor\'s degree, with advanced or professional qualifications in Communications or related disciplines also desirable.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering multi-channel corporate communications strategy in a global, diversified, and agile organization.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Possesses professional gravitas, credibility, and diplomacy skills to liaise with senior leaders and executives.
  • Ability to confidently present communication strategies, techniques, and KPIs to senior executives.
  • Ability to simplify technical terms, information, aims, and objectives into clear and compelling communication concepts for stakeholders.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English; Arabic language skills desirable but not mandatory.
