The Opportunity:

We are looking for a passionate colleague to gather requirements and analyse large amounts of disparate raw information that will help improve our operations and business services. The role requires strong technical skills to import various source of data coming from on-premises or cloud ERP, integration in a Global Datawarehouse and ensure performance optimization following the best standards in the industry.

This role requires good understanding of the business processes and data produced by them and to know how to analyse system requirements, implement migration methods and perform query optimization. Familiarisation with predictive analysis and data visualization techniques using relevant tools (e.g., Power BI) is a must.

This role requires highly analytical skills with a knack for analysis, math, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are seen as minimum essentials for interpreting data.

A day in the life:

• Work in collaboration with our Global IT Director - BI & Data Analytics to prioritize business and information needs and propose solutions and strategies to gather necessary data while ensuring adequate performance.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
• "Clean" data by reviewing performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Able to manage resources and act as a key influencer to provide the good technical solutions
• Analyse structural requirements and advise data architecture for new software and applications development by collaborating with engineering and product development teams
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities and identify valuable data sources to automate collection processes

What you'll bring to WSP ...

• Above 15 years experience in ERP Implementation, ERP Deployments on technical configurations (BR100) in Global Enterprise & large companies
• Experience with Oracle Fusion (Cloud), ODI, BICC, OCI and models with over billion of records
• Proven work experience & network in the Engineering Industry and with key IT implementation suppliers
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, data cleansing & data visualization
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting (exceptionally good with Power BI, M-Query & DAX), databases knowledge (SQL/ Oracle etc.), hands on experience in Table Creation, Views, Indexes, Joins, Merge, Union etc. and some programming skills (VBA, R, Python).
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SPSS, SAS etc.)
• Proven experience in archiving and query optimization
• Bachelors/master's in computer science/Statistics/Maths/Information Technology/Finance/Engineering
• Relevant domain certifications (ERP Cloud, SQL, PMP, Other)
• Above 15 years of experience
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
