Job Summary


The Global Compensation and Governance Manager is a valuable member of the Global Rewards team, who will play an integral role in the transformation of a Global Rewards Centre of Excellence to enhance the organization\xe2\x80\x99s ability to attract, develop, engage, and retain a talented and high performing workforce. The position will assist in the development of Global Rewards Strategy and Governance Framework to achieve consistent compensation programs and practices globally while ensuring each country\xe2\x80\x99s compensation programs meet local needs, aligned with best market practices, market competitiveness, internally equity and legislative compliance. The Global Compensation & Governance Manager collaborates with HR Partners on Director Level and above compensation recommendations and oversees the Global Year-End Compensation Review program. Some of the responsibilities include compensation planning, design, delivery, communication, and evaluation of rewards programs.

Job Responsibilities


  • Plays an integral in the transforming Global Rewards to a Global Centre of Excellence. Identifies opportunities to create consistent global compensation programs and job leveling structures including streamlined job codes, titling conventions etc.
  • Assist with global job leveling to ensure adherence to global architecture principles and design, and supports HR Digital Transformation.
  • Keeps abreast of best market practices to assist in the design and delivery of Global Broad-Based Compensation, Executive and Sales Programs involving research, market pricing and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ensures remote working employment arrangements meet taxation and immigration requirements for employees and the company.
  • Oversees Variable Pay Programs to ensure they are market competitive, internally equitable and legal compliant.
  • Communicates variable pay program on a regular basis to enhance the employee experience and awareness of business and results.
  • Performs cost/benefit analysis using highly sophisticated financial models.
  • Analyzes the effectiveness of existing programs to support pay-for-performance culture.
  • Consults with HR Partners to support the organization\xe2\x80\x99s ability to attract and engage talent and enhance the employee experience and leadership decision making. Work together to critically define business issues and collaborate on effective decisions.
  • Supports the SAP/Employee Central implementation by creating an optimal compensation architecture and automating compensation administration.
  • Oversees the annual compensation review Program including merit budgets, short-term and long-term incentives. Works with multiple stakeholders to streamline an end-to-end process and effective program management including guidelines, communication, and reporting. Prepares comprehensive analytics and reports supporting pay-for-performance principles.
  • Provides consultation on senior management and executive programs including external market surveys and analysis, job leveling, data management and administration.
  • Keep abreast of all applicable legislation and ensures compliance of all Reward Programs.
  • Leads market intelligence process, supervises total rewards surveys participation and analysis to ensure Aptoex\xe2\x80\x99s competitive market position.
  • Assists in the design of compensation programs and consults on individual compensation levels relevant to organizational design, culture, market practices and internal equity.

Job Requirements


  • Education
    • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent combination of training and experience.
    • Professional designation in CCP and/or CEBS is strongly preferred.

    • 8- 15 years of progressive total rewards experience with a strong focus on compensation
