Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glazier to join our Glass team. The ideal candidate will have experience in glass installation For residential doors & windows and Commercial Doors & Windows . This role involves working on commercial and residential projects, ensuring precise installation and finishing of glass and related materials. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, be comfortable working at heights, and have a solid understanding of construction processes. Prior experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and hand tools is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Install, replace, and repair glass in windows, doors, storefronts, and other structures with precision and care Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions using appropriate tools and techniques Perform caulking, sealing, and finishing work to ensure weather-tightness and aesthetic quality Assist with framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry as needed Handle heavy lifting of glass panels and materials safely according to safety protocols Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet project timelines and specifications Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly Doors & Windows repair and replacement / hardware/ residential and commercial Storefront Aluminum Installation Framing and glass residential glass replacement for patio/sliding /entry doors and windows residential sliding doors installation

Skills

Extensive experience with glass installation, fabrication, and handling heavy materials Proficiency in construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) safely Knowledge of construction site safety practices including fall protection when working at heights Familiarity with fixture installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, remodeling projects Experience with caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, painting Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings accurately Maintenance Person experience or general construction background is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle
