Glaziers

to join our growing installation team. In this critical field role, you'll be on-site installing high-performance architectural glazing systems, contributing to some of Calgary's most iconic buildings.

What You'll Do: Build with Precision and Pride



This role involves hands-on installation of architectural glazing systems in a dynamic and physically demanding environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Glazing System Installation

: Install curtain wall systems, unitized systems, aluminum storefronts, doors, and skylights according to shop drawings and specs.

Glass Handling

: Safely lift, maneuver, and install glass and aluminum components on-site using appropriate tools and equipment.

Field Work & Troubleshooting

: Adapt to site conditions, assist in demolition or site prep, and solve installation challenges in real-time.

Quality Assurance

: Identify and report damaged products or installation issues promptly; ensure all finished work meets our high quality standards.

Safety Compliance

: Use all required PPE, tools, and machinery safely and in accordance with training and protocols (e.g., Fall Protection, EWP).

Team Collaboration

: Work closely with Lead Hands and fellow Glaziers to meet project timelines and uphold our safety-first culture.

Site Cleanup

: Maintain a clean and organized work area, removing debris and tools post-installation.

What You'll Bring: Skills That Make a Clear Impact



To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Glazing Experience

: Previous experience installing curtain wall, aluminum doors, unitized or strip window systems is strongly preferred.

Physical Readiness

: Comfortable lifting glass and materials regularly and working at heights, on scaffolding, or from elevated work platforms.

Technical Ability

: Able to read and interpret shop drawings, use hand and power tools effectively, and troubleshoot installation issues on-site.

Safety Focus

: Trained in and committed to following safety protocols, including WHMIS, Fall Protection, and Elevated Work Platforms.

Problem-Solving Mindset

: Quick thinking on-site, with the ability to identify solutions and communicate issues to the supervisor promptly.

Communication & Teamwork

: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and represent Ferguson professionally on job sites.

Additional Assets

: Valid driver's license, First Aid/CPR, and comfort using basic MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) for referencing schedules or documentation.
