Cal-Tech Glass Services has been serving Calgary and the surrounding areas since 1985. We offer a wide range of products, including commercial glazing, residential glazing, office dividers and partitions, and aluminum picket and glass railing systems.
Our team of experienced journeymen and apprentices ensures the quality installation of all the products we offer.
We're looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our team as we take on exciting new projects.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking motivated

Glaziers

(Journeymen and Apprentices) to join our team, both on our commercial and our residential crew.
You'll be responsible for installing commercial aluminum glazing systems, including curtain walls, storefronts, skylights, glass entrances, and interior glass wall systems, as well as installing glass and related hardware.
The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Install curtain wall, storefront, window wall, etc. Install glass wall systems and related hardware Install aluminum doors and hardware Read and interpret blueprints accurately Measure glass and aluminum framing Follow established safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment Complete paperwork for safety and quality control properly Safely operate aerial platforms, scissor lifts, and other glazing-related machinery

Requirements:

Prior glazing experience is preferred but not required Ability to lift glass and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working at heights Must have reliable transportation Knowledge of basic tools and safety practices CSTS/WHMIS, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, or other safety certifications are considered assets
