We are seeking a skilled

Glass Cutter

to join our team. The Glass Cutter is responsible for cutting, shaping, and fabricating glass to meet customer specifications and ensure the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate cutting machines to accurately cut and break glass. Utilize hand and speed cutters to cut glass with precision. Fabricate insulating glass units using required materials and techniques. Determine the appropriate type of glass, frames, and materials needed for each project. Measure, mark, and cut glass accurately using hand tools and power tools. Transport cases of glass to the designated areas. Assist with loading and unloading glass materials and finished products. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Inspect glass for defects or imperfections before processing. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in glass cutting or a similar field is preferred. Knowledge of glass cutting techniques, both manual and machine-operated. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision. Ability to lift and move heavy glass cases. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Safety-conscious with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
