Through our three centres of care, we support children, teens, and adults through the grieving process as they face advanced illness or the death of someone in their life. We promise to have the difficult conversations about death, dying, and grief while honouring each unique experience of grief.

Hospice Calgary is seeking a
Gift Processing & Finance Clerk
to join our team. You will use your attention to detail and accuracy skills to ensure donations and thank you letters are processed in a timely manner. Your ability to switch between tasks from the donor database to the accounting system will be a strong asset. Your accounts receivable entry work will support the Finance Officer in ensuring a clean financial audit.

You take pride in accurately transferring financial and donations data into our systems.

which allows us to continue providing compassionate services to those dealing with advanced illness and grief.
You are willing to be flexible
to meet the needs of our finance and fund development teams.
You are an experienced data entry professional
with prior experience assisting with financial operations. You are always looking for ways to improve processes and accuracy of the data collected.
You are a collaborator
who works well as part of an inter-professional team that crosses all three centres of care at Hospice Calgary.
Qualifications & Competencies
1 - 2 years related experience in a data entry role is required
Experience entering data into Raiser's Edge (or similar) experience highly recommended
Previous experience assisting with financial operations of a business or non-profit and/or gift entry
Strong people skills with demonstrated ability to work well in teams and independently
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and accounting software
