Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate and Gift Maker to join our team. A Retail Sales Associate, provides excellent service to customers within a retail environment. Primary responsibilities will be helping customers with any questions or concerns they have while in the store, replenishing stock on the floor, and processing payments on Shopify POS.

Part time position entails working Saturdays and late Thursdays. Saturday Hours noon until 5 p.m. Thursdays from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Duties

Retail Associate and Gift Maker

Design and assemble a variety of gift baskets based on customer specifications and seasonal themes. Maintain an organized workspace, keeping track of inventory and supplies needed for basket creation. Provide support to Retail Shoppers Stong Sales Experience Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and offering suggestions based on their needs. Process transactions accurately using the Shopify POS system, including credit card processing. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and maintain high standards of quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales and customer service roles, particularly in retail and online sales.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and

experience operating a Shopify and PayPal POS system. Experience with QuickBooks

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to create strong customer relationships

A creative mindset

with an eye for detail, particularly in product presentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
