Nous recherchons un(e) Gestionnaire de Projet pour rejoindre notre equipe mondiale Mines et Metaux (M&M) et soutenir notre croissance afin de repondre a la demande de fourniture de mineraux critiques provenant de sources responsables. Le(la) Gestionnaire de Projet supervisera des equipes multidisciplinaires menant des etudes de projet, de la conception detaillee a la construction/mise en service. Cette opportunite vise a soutenir la croissance de notre activite M&M situee dans plusieurs endroits au Canada.


Votre role au sein de l'equipe

Preparer des propositions pour des etudes et des mandats d'ingenierie d'usine et executer ces mandats lorsqu'ils sont attribues. Developper et mettre en oeuvre des strategies d'execution. Gerer des etudes et des mandats d'ingenierie d'usine conformement a la portee et au calendrier du projet. Developper, coordonner et maintenir les calendriers de projet pour garantir que les objectifs de cout, de qualite et de calendrier sont atteints. Gerer et controler les budgets de projet. Preparer des previsions de projet. Identifier les changements de portee et demander des ordres de modification avant d'effectuer le travail. Utiliser des outils de gestion de projet etablis pour mesurer mensuellement l'avancement des projets afin de garantir que les budgets et les calendriers sont respectes, et si necessaire, prendre des mesures correctives. Assurer que les revues de documentation sont effectuees conformement aux Instructions du Projet. Preparer des rapports d'etat de projet. Assurer la coordination interdisciplinaire conformement aux Instructions du Projet. Preparer des packages de travail d'ingenierie et de construction necessaires pour soutenir l'execution du projet. Identifier et corriger rapidement tout probleme d'ingenierie. Superviser et gerer le processus de demande d'achat, examiner les offres et les documents d'appel d'offres pour garantir la conformite avec la portee et les specifications techniques du projet. Developper, maintenir et coordonner toutes les interfaces avec les groupes operationnels du client. Assurer que le personnel qualifie est disponible pour repondre aux objectifs de performance du projet. Soutenir l'identification et la prequalification des sous-traitants. Communiquer clairement la portee de l'ingenierie, y compris la technologie et les informations de conception, aux membres de l'equipe pour repondre aux exigences du projet. Revoir les dessins et developper des portees de travail. Gerer les sous-traitants, y compris la gestion des changements. Etablir et maintenir un climat favorable a l'application de pratiques ethiques et professionnelles dans l'execution des travaux d'ingenierie du projet.

Le(la) candidat(e) ideal(e)

Diplome: Bachelor en Sciences en ingenierie souhaite. Inscription: Ingenieur(e) professionnel(le) (P.Eng.) ou eligible a l'inscription. Experience: Minimum 10 ans d'experience, de preference dans l'industrie miniere. Experience en EPC/EPCM: Preferee. Experience sur site: Experience sur site et/ou dans un role operationnel dans une usine de traitement minier est un atout. Competences en gestion de projet: Connaissance pratique des methodes de cout, de planification et de controle. Maitrise de diverses methodes et techniques de gestion de projet standard. Qualites personnelles: Autonomie, orientation vers les objectifs avec un fort focus client et des competences interpersonnelles.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Global Minerals & Metals (M&M) team and to support our growth to align with the demand to supply responsibly sourced critical minerals. The Project Manager will oversee multidisciplinary teams conducting project studies through detailed design to construction/commissioning.


This opportunity will be to support the growth of our M&M business located in in several locations in Canada.


Your role within the team:

Prepare proposals for studies and plant engineering mandates and execute these mandates when awarded. Develop and implement execution strategies. Manage studies and plant engineering mandates in accordance with the project scope and schedule. Develop, coordinate, and maintain project schedules to ensure cost, quality and schedule objectives are met. Manage and control project budgets. Prepare project forecasts. Identify scope changes and request change orders in advance of performing work. Using established project management tools, measure monthly the progress of projects to ensure that the budgets and schedules are being met, and if necessary, take corrective action. Ensure that the reviews of documentation are carried out in accordance with the Project Instructions. Prepare project status reports. Ensure that interdisciplinary coordination is carried out in accordance with the Project Instructions. Prepare engineering and construction work packages as required to support the execution of the project. Initiate a prompt identification and correction for any engineering issues. Oversee and manage the procurement requisition process, review bids and tendering documents to ensure conformance with the project scope and technical specifications. Develop, maintain and coordinate all interfaces with client operations groups. Ensures that suitable and sufficient staffing is available to meet the performance objectives of the project. Support the identification and prequalification of subcontractors. Clearly communicate the engineering scope, including the technology and the design information, to team members to meet project requirements. Review drawings and develop scopes of work. Management of subcontractors including change management. Establish and maintain a climate favorable to the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of the project engineering work.

The ideal candidate:

Bachelor of Science degree Engineering desired. Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for registration desired. Minimum 10 years of experience preferably in the mining industry. Previous EPC/EPCM experience preferred. Site experience and/or experience working in an operations role in a mining process plant is an asset. Working knowledge of cost, planning and control methods. Proficiency in a variety of standard project management methods and techniques. Self-motivated, goal oriented with strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
