Responsabilites principales



Operations financieres et rapports

Diriger toutes les operations comptables generales, y compris les clotures mensuelles et annuelles. Superviser les comptes clients, fournisseurs, la paie et les conciliations bancaires. Tenir et concilier le grand livre comptable avec precision. Assurer la conformite aux politiques internes, aux reglements fiscaux et aux normes d'audit. Preparer des rapports financiers pour les parties prenantes internes et externes. Mettre en oeuvre des outils d'automatisation et des ameliorations de processus. Renforcer les controles internes et les standards de documentation. Identifier et mettre en oeuvre des ameliorations de processus pour optimiser l'efficacite et la fiabilite des operations comptables. Participer activement aux audits externes et internes. Identifier et mettre en oeuvre des ameliorations de processus pour optimiser l'efficacite et la fiabilite des operations comptables. Elaborer et suivre les budgets, les previsions financieres et les analyses de performance. Collaborer avec les equipes de production, d'approvisionnement et de direction pour soutenir les decisions strategiques. Toutes autres taches connexes.

Leadership et collaboration

Encadrer et accompagner l'equipe comptable (comptabilite generale, comptes clients, comptes fournisseurs). Definir des objectifs et promouvoir une culture de responsabilite et d'amelioration continue. Diriger la formation sur les systemes financiers et les outils technologiques. Collaborer avec les equipes des autres departements (operations, RH, finances).

Profil recherche



Titre professionnel CPA ou equivalent requis. Experience de 5 a 7 ans en comptabilite, incluant un passage en cabinet d'audit (Big 4 ou equivalent) et une exposition au secteur industriel ou manufacturier. Excellente maitrise des principes comptables canadiens (NCECF), des normes fiscales et des controles internes. Competences demontrees en leadership, en encadrement d'equipe et en gestion de la performance. Experience avec les systemes ERP (ex. : SAGE, SAP,Microsoft Dynamics) et les outils d'automatisation comptable. Capacite a ameliorer les processus, optimiser les couts et assurer la conformite. Bilinguisme (francais et anglais) requis, tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit. Fortes competences analytiques, souci du detail et capacite a travailler dans un environnement dynamique et en evolution.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities



Financial Operations & Reporting

Lead all general accounting operations, including monthly and year-end closings. Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger with accuracy. Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and audit standards. Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Implement automation tools and process improvements to enhance efficiency. Strengthen internal controls and documentation standards. Identify and execute process improvements to optimize accounting operations. Actively participate in internal and external audits. Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and performance analyses. Collaborate with production, procurement, and leadership teams to support strategic decision-making. Perform other related duties as required.

Leadership & Collaboration

Supervise and support the accounting team (general accounting, AR, AP). Set clear objectives and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Lead training initiatives on financial systems and technology tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, Finance).

Candidate Profile



CPA designation or equivalent required. 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, including time in an audit firm (Big 4 or equivalent) and exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP (ASPE), tax regulations, and internal controls. Proven leadership skills in team management and performance oversight. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and accounting automation tools. Ability to improve processes, optimize costs, and ensure compliance. Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
