Tasks

Conduct geological, geophysical, geochemical, hydrographic or oceanographic surveys, prospecting field trips, exploratory drilling, well logging or underground mine survey programs Conduct or direct surveys or survey programs Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems Prepare rock, mineral or metal samples Assist in preparing rock, mineral or metal samples Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps and cross sections
