Job Description

Marathon Underground is currently seeking full-time Geotechnical/Environmental Driller and Driller's Assistant with AZ or DZ license to join our growing team in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

Driller

: 3 years experience with vertical drilling operations, experience with CME55/75/850 or equivalent. Confident operating and maintaining Geo-technical drill rigs. Employing rock coring, mud rotary, and auger drilling techniques. Developing and maintaining boring logs and daily reports. Driller's Assistant: Minimum of 1-year experience with drilling operations and 1-year general construction experience. Collecting disturbed and undisturbed soil samples and rock samples and data at various depth intervals. Record basic material descriptions, depth of material, changes, water level measurements and results of down-hole tests.

All positions

DZ/AZ license and clean drivers abstract is considered a strong asset. A valid driver's license is

required

for all positions. Ability to work evenings, weekends and shift work as required. Travel within Canada will be required for this position. Job sites are outside and operate year-round, must be willing to work in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently throughout the day.
