We are currently seeking to fill Geotechnical Engineer in Training (EIT) position in the Engineering department at our Kelowna office. The job will consist of conducting site investigations, construction reviews and inspections, data management, and writing and editing formal reports, letters, and memos in MS Suite. The position will include working closely with the Company\'s engineering staff and management group, as well as clients and contractors. Candidates will be expected to travel throughout the Okanagan region on a regular basis. The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

• A Degree in geological or civil engineering
• A solid understanding of soil mechanics and soil classification
• Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD
• A valid Canadian driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a personal vehicle
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Enrollment or eligibility to enroll with EGBC as an Engineer-In-Training is preferred
