About us

We are a growing geotechnical engineering firm based in Calgary, Alberta.

We serve a wide range of clients within the heavy civil, commercial, energy, residential, transportation, mining, and municipal sectors. Consequently, you will be exposed to a wide variety of projects and will be assigned design, reporting, inspection, project management, and other tasks to work on collaboratively on with senior and junior staff.

Compensation

Starting salary will be in the range of 80-105k per year, with banked time over 40 hours per week accrued on a 1:1 basis. The salary range may be adjusted based on qualifications and suitability to the role.

Duties

Mentorship will be provided for all duties and senior staff will be available for any and all questions to support you and get you started.

Geotechnical reporting for structures, retaining walls, earthen dams, etc Retaining wall design and drafting Earthen reservoir and dam design and reporting Pile design Slope stability assessments Organization and management of drilling programs Mentorship of junior engineering staff Review of reports produced by junior engineers Management of geotechnical inspections (EOR duties) In some cases, some field work may be required, but is not expected to be a regular occurrence.

Requirements

B.Sc. in Civil Engineering

P.Eng. status with APEGA

Valid and unrestricted drivers license 5+ years geotechnical experience

Meticulously organized and punctual Well developed written and verbal communication skills Flexible Takes direction well
