Driller Assistants

based out of Saskatoon to support our drilling operations on sites ranging from refineries and roads to dams and mines.

We provide full training for motivated individuals looking to start a long-term career in a high-demand trade.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist the Driller in collecting core samples used to design foundations for buildings, roads, and industrial infrastructure Load and unload drilling rigs and trucks with tools and supplies Drive drill or support truck to job sites Set up sampling equipment, collect and label samples Lift and handle drilling tools and augers (50-80 lbs) repeatedly Keep work areas clean and safe, including shovelling around boreholes

What We're Looking For

No experience necessary

--just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Physically fit and able to lift 50-80 lbs repeatedly throughout the day Able to work in

all weather conditions

drug and alcohol screening

Clean driving record

(no DUIs, no more than two minor infractions) Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision Comfortable with

frequent travel

and irregular schedules Mechanical aptitude is a strong asset Must have

own transportation

to/from the Saskatoon shop

What You'll Do

Assist the Driller in collecting soil and rock samples for foundation design of buildings, roads, dams, and more Load and unload drilling equipment and supplies Drive the drill or support truck to sites (must have a clean driving record) Set up sampling equipment and collect samples accurately Perform heavy lifting (50-80 lbs) and repetitive handling of drilling tools throughout the day Keep the work site tidy, including shoveling soil and cleaning equipment

What We're Looking For

No experience required

--we provide training Comfortable working outdoors in

all seasons and weather

Physically strong, with no prior back, wrist, or shoulder injuries

Drug and alcohol testing

is mandatory Must be willing to travel frequently and have a

flexible schedule

Must have your own transportation to and from the Saskatoon shop Strong attendance, teamwork, and safety focus are essential

Mechanical aptitude

is a strong asset
